How much of the internet can a Zune access?

Basically, I need a new cell and a new mp3 player of some sort. With one or the other, I would like to be able to access the internet. Not for much more than Facebook, some email, and possibly Google. I’ve read that some models of the Zune can access WiFi, and was wondering if anyone can explain to me in simple terms what kind of internet capabilities the device has, in terms of the way I intend to use it.

Any help is appreciated.
Thank you.

What's the difference between the internet and the world wide web?

I’ve heard that "world wide web" only refers to http:// pages, and excludes things like ftp and email.

The implication was that "internet" includes things like email.

What all does "internet" include, and what does "world wide web" exclude? Is their a third term for every possible piece of information exchange you can do between two computers connected on a network?

I can connect to Internet explorer but firefox and other online programs wont work, what can i do?

I have tried everything from changing proxy settings to unplugging and resetting my router and my DSL connections. Internet explorer works up until i try to log on to my email, or anything that involves logging on. I can access webpages and view streaming video. What is a web service that I can have people upload to without them needing an account?

I am the director of a video and need to have a way for a lot of people (800) to upload photos and videos to an online server.

I know there are online "hard drives" but I am looking for something were people can hit a link on a web page and upload files to this server without them needing an account. They do not need to see the files already uploaded and I would prefer they don’t. Is there anything out there like that?
What if they dont need to create an account, but have to enter an email and something else.

Is there an internet monitoring program that just records website and search terms?

I am looking for an internet monitoring software that doesn’t totally compromise privacy. I would like something that would send an email (or post on a website) the internet addresses that the user went to and the search terms that were entered but no passwords, screenshots etc. Pretty much just a record of the history. Do any such programs exist?
