I am using a template type program to operate and maintain my church’s web site, and need to protect our photos. I need to know how to make them unable to be copied or saved.
Yes, she is right. That is exactly what I want to do. Just simply try to protect our original photos and all, so people can’t save them to their computers. I have been to web sites where their photos were like that. Thanks.

I’ts impossible. Whenever someone views a picture on your website, a copy of the picture is automatically downloaded to their computer. All you can do is prevent hotlinking of your images.
I think she means so people can’t copy and paste the photos/save them on their computer (like how some people’s photos are protected on flickr) however people can always screencap.
